SE announced on their official Twitter page that Phase 3 of the Closed Beta will be ending on August 25, so get as much playtime in as you can. I myself will be playing as much as possible since I joined closed beta rather late and want to get a better handle on how things are going before my time is up. There have been a lot of players complaining about the issues surrounding surplus exp and whether there is enough content, and one can only wonder if SE has been listening.
All is not lost, however! The Open Beta Test is scheduled to begin in early September. There will be some kind of application process, although no one knows what that is yet, but hopefully SE will have at least taken a serious look at the issues and complaints the community has been voicing during Phase 3 of the Closed Beta.
